Hope Knows No Bounds

Oakland Art Association:

Hopes & Dreams

Piedmont Center for the Arts

Ongoing — November 1

(S-S; 11am-2pm)

Jan St. Onge, Moonfall in Istanbul

Artists bring Hopes and Dreams to life. In our darker days, hopes and dreams may be all we have to help us move forward. People, thoughts, jobs can pull at us, can rob us of joy. What they don’t know is that these Hopes and Dreams are our secret weapons spurring us on to the next, more promising day.

This exhibition encompasses our most precious and intimate desires for the future. It can be a dream vacation, a dream come true, a dream for the future of the world or just your part of it. Hope knows no bounds, hope for change, for healing, a brighter future or for world peace.

L2R: Jenifer Kolkhorst, Cloud Medley; Jeanie Dooha, Homage to Matisse, and Ruth Petersen Shorer, May She Be Held.
