This year’s theme is Threads of Change: Youth Empowerment Through Creativity.

Join them in honoring the hundreds of local youth they serve. Get ready for an unforgettable experience featuring an over-the-top fashion show, an auction which will include unique and one-of-a-kind items, DJ mixes spinning throughout the night, drinks, lite bites and epic surprises!

What is TAGS?

Teen Advocacy Going Strong is a woman-founded and led nonprofit. The organization serves as a creative reuse hub supporting diverse and underserved youth ages 13–24. TAGS combines art, sustainability and entrepreneurship to help young people grow through hands-on experience.

Their thrift store and creative workspace offer a unique environment where youth can explore business skills, creative expression and community connection. Through job training, entrepreneurship programs, volunteer opportunities and art workshops, TAGS empowers teens and young adults to build confidence, resilience, and real-world skills.

​ As more youth face stress, anxiety, and depression, TAGS is a safe space where they can create, connect, and thrive. The TAGS motto – Create More, Stress Less – reflects their mission to promote well-being, individuality and positive change.

TAGS maintains a store at 1711 E. 14th St. in San Leandro. Hours are W-F Noon-6pm and Sundays Noon-4pm.
